Little Miss & Mister Contest
|
The Daviess County Fair Little Miss and Mister Contest is a competition all about finding the most well-rounded, personable child. Physical appearance is important but also the intelligence, personality and friendliness of the child play a big role in this contest.
Each contestant must be at least 5 years of age by June 1, 2012 and cannot have reached his/her 8th birthday by June 1, 2012. All contestants must be residents of Daviess County.
Girls should wear short dresses (knee or tea length) and boys should wear dress pants and shirts. Parents are responsible for getting the contestants to the judging sessions and to the bandstand for the crowning.

Each contestant will be given a t-shirt to wear so we must know the sizes by Thursday, June 14, 2012.
The crowning ceremony will take place during the Daviess County Fair the week of June 22-30, 2012. Contestants will appear on the bandstand on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 7 pm for the actual Little Miss and Mister Contest.
Private judging will be held on the morning of Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Elnora. Judging will start at 9:45 am with boys going first and girls immediately following. The contestants will be judged individually by a panel of judges and then will be judged in a group.
The judging will take place as follows:
Contestants will be allowed to leave after their individual interview. All contestants should wear a t-shirt, blue jean shorts, socks and tennis shoes to the interview. No make-up or jewelry is allowed.
All contestants are asked to participate in the Daviess County Fair Parade on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 5:30 pm.
